So what's next: Newsrooms must undergo fundamental cultural change
Article Abstract:
Readers have changed but the newspapers have not and it is believed that 21st century papers that survive will be those that produce truly original content and learn fast how to translate it into the all-encompassing new medium of the Web. Newspapers have to be innovative by integrating multimedia with cultural revolution in the newsrooms, be content and not technology oriented and be compact and compelling to meet the demands of the readers.

Forty journalists are shown how to use a brand new publishing system at Diario de Leon and how they could profit from the new design. The design from La Voz and its pagination system was adopted and 2 helpful tools used were the Help database and Style Book.
