Steelcase Incorporated Stow Davis Furniture Co (Stow Davis) introduces its new executive furnishing designs called Stow Davis Nines.The company's designers regarded current executive furnitures as either too austere or too ostentatious and created a classic line with timeless appeal. They improved the box-like furniture design by adding panel details on the sides, inlaid metal strips and full-panelled overlays. Stow Davis plans to develop other product lines and Stow Davis Nines illustrates the company's continuing thrust to create quality executive furniture design.

Metro, a Steelcase Design Partnership member and lounge seating manufacturer, launches its new Monterey Series. The new collection features a simplified frame and wood tablet arms supported by zinc castings, with a wide choice of upholstery fabrics and finishes. The seats are cost-effective and may be ganged or free-standing. The seat design simplifies its construction, thus cutting on labor costs and consequently reducing its price.

Benefits of chair care

Article Abstract:

Properly-designed chairs can be introduced in patients' rooms to allow faster recuperation by making patients stay out of bedlonger. Chair care does not mean provision of wheelchairs and similar devices because these were designed for transport rather than stationary use. The properly-designed chair will have the seat properly-aligned to allow correct posture which will ease the pressure on the diaphragm and the lungs.
