Article Abstract:
Three generations of dancers trained by Alwin Nikolais came together at Hunter College, New York, to honor him on the tenth anniversary of his death. Hunter's Dance Department chair, Jana Feinman, along with the aid of Gerald Otte organized the Nikolais Legacy Forum and the theme that emerged over three days was the artistic individuality with which Nikolais empowered dancers.

Boston Ballet director Mikko Nissinen has made few changes in the Swan Lake and it is noteworthy for the first Odette-Odile of homegrown ballerina Sarah Lamb, who is leaving the company to join the Royal Ballet. The company has announced that two sister ballerinas, Lorna and Lorena Feijoo, would perform the roles of Odette and Odile on May 22, 2004.
