Officials from the National Space Society testified in front of the US Senate Finance Committee's Subcommittee on International Trade and expressed support for legislation which facilitated the purchase of US satellites by Japanese corpoations and agencies. Profits from space satellite purchases by the Japanese can provide much needed funds for future space exploration.
