The 0-100-0 challenge was won by a Porsche 911 Turbo, as it was when the race was revived in 1994, with a Performance Developments custom 911 edging out a production model at 13.7 to 14.0 seconds. The competitors were grouped into sedans, muscle cars, sports cars/GTs, megabuck cars and tuner specials.

The best all-around sports car
Article Abstract:
The performance of six sports cars, namely, Dodge Viper GTS, Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, Porsche 911 Carrera, Ferrari F355 F1, BMW M roadster and Acura NSX, were evaluated. The Ferrari and Porsche automobiles had 372.4 and 372.3 points, respectively, and were both ranked number one.
