The Mazda MX-5 Miata was launched in late 1989 and has sold over 400,000 units. This sports car has a high resale value and used special-editions can command a premium price. The redesigned Miata II will be launched in 1998. Some tips on how to inspect a used Miata are presented.

1992-97 BMW 3-series: expectations met - and then some

A survey of BMW 3-series owners showed that most have high marks for these automobiles. About 50% of respondents owned coupes while 40% had sedans. Their main reasons for choosing BMW are handling, performance/acceleration and engineering.
