2005 Ford: Escape Hybrid

Ford's new car Escape Hybrid is a pure hybrid, it can run on only electricity at 25 mph or a combination of electricity and the power of a 2.3-liter Duratec gasoline in-line-4 engine with 133 bhp at 6000 rpm through electronically controlled, planetary continuously variable transmission. Escape Hybrid is placed at $3000-$3500 over standard Escape without any cost-per-mile advantage.

The inaugural tour at the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic which is stretched to 1479 miles gathered 29 car participants for the start in Kirkland, Washington. Covering the years 1916 to 1954, the enetries include American and European cars of various sizes and lineups.

Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6: Full blown benefactor

Chrysler which has introduced its latest model Chrossfire SRT-6 is presented. Crossfire can cover 0-60mph in about 5 seconds and has a software-capped top speed of 158 mph, a 200-mph speedometer that reflects the car's higher speed and is priced at $45,695.
