Acura NSX-T Sportshift: bright, breezy and shiftless
Article Abstract:
The Acura NSX-T is a targa-top version of the much-admired Acura NSX. One of the most interesting features of the NSX-T is its SportShift, an automatic transmission system which allows the driver manual control over gearchanges. Although a novel idea, the SportShift is somewhat ill-suited for a sportscar like the NSX-T.

The $52,363 XJS has a new six-in-line 24-valve engine that is much smoother that the V-12 of previous models. The lighter powertrain improves handling, and the driving performance is not compromised. Styling remains classic although dated in appearance.
