The 1998 Cadillac Seville made its debut at the Frankfurt auto show and would be sold in Japan and the US in Dec. 1997. The 1998 model has new lights, bumpers and is shorter by 3 in. in length but still retains the Northstar powertrain and the 4.6-liter V-8 engine from the 1997 model.

Saturn Corp has introduced a third body style, a station wagon that borrows heavily from the sedan series. There is 28.8 cubic feet of storage space behind the rear seats, air bags and anti-lock brake systems are available, with an expected base price of about $10,895.
