Chrysler's new blockbusters

Chrysler used the 1992 North American International Auto Show to launch its new line of LH sedans. These new cars range in price from $15,000 to $25,000 and are intended to combat the popularity of the Ford Taurus. Product introductions by other car manufacturers are examined.

Automobile manufacturers featured a number of concept cars at both exhibitions. Porsche displayed the 986, a $35,000 two-seat sports car that will debut in 1995. The Ford Mustang Mach III prototype has a V-8 engine with 450 horsepower.

Spied! Four Fords of the future!

Ford is currently developing a new Thunderbird to debut in 1997, a front-drive minivan, a full-size pickup truck for 1996 and a Taurus SHO with a V-8 engine. Photographs of the prototypes were taken by spy photographers.
