Freeman Thomas, former head of the Daimler Chrysler Pacifica design studios in Carlsbad compares the body structure of the Porsche 911 to Ferrari Dino 246 GT, as he was involved in designing both these cars. Both these cars were geared toward the same type of customers, as they had similar features and specifications.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4 & 4S

Porsche has introduced its new 2006 911 Carrera, representing iteration of Porsche's all-wheel-drive 911 based on the type 997. It is an improved version of its 996-based predecessor, and can be distinguished from the Carrera 2 by a 1.7-in-wider rear track.
