The Ka is the smallest Ford ever - a foot shorter than a Mazda Miata. It is not slated for US release, but Ford hopes to sell 240,000 in Europe in a few years. It has shapely, intriguing styling, a unique curved dashboard and good handling. However, US focus balked at its $11,000 pricetag.

A Ferrari owned and driven by Andy Evans hit a top speed of 194 mph during a test drive at the Transportation Research Center track. It accelerated to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and completed a quarter-mile in 12.1 seconds at 123 mph. A 24-month lease for the car costs $560,640.
