The Jaguar XJ-S has been around since 1975, but JaguarSport has taken over the production of the XJR-S. The results are increased horsepower, larger tires and firmer suspension. The automatic transmission, unfortunately, is only three-speed, and the prices will start at about $80,500.

1998 Jaguar XJ8 and XJR
Article Abstract:
The new Jaguar XJ8 can accelerate to 60 mph at 5.5 sec. and is 1.1 sec. faster than its XJ6 predecessor. The XJ8 has an aluminum 4-liter V-8 engine with a belt-driven Eaton M112 supercharger that can give out 370 bhp, making the XJ8 the fastest Jaguar ever built.
