After 40,000 miles, the Ford Contour SE required repairs to several parts including the gas guage's in-tank sending unit and the sunroof's weather stripping. The car remains one of the best-driving in its class, but the interior is somewhat cramped for large drivers.

1999 Chrysler 300M and LHS: preview test
