The new Porsche 911Carrera is tested in conditions ranging from high-speed tarmac to gravel roads and desert heat. The 3.8 engine of Porsche 911 has new cylinder heads in which the cross-flow cooling fluid circulation is optimized by the provision of directional channels to avoid hot spots.
