Damon Hill won the Portuguese Grand Prix race on Sep 25, 1994, with David Coulthard finishing in second place. Michael Schumacher won the European Grand Prix, held in Spain on Oct 16, 1994, and Damon Hill finished in second place. These and other Formula One highlights are discussed.

Article Abstract:
The 1994 Formula 1 racing season was filled with tragedy and with controversy. On the positive side, a deserving Michael Schumacher won the championship in the final race of the season. However, the death of Ayrton Senna, one of the best drivers ever, overshadowed the season.
