Article Abstract:
A California mandate that called for the selling of electric vehicles (EVs) by 1998 has been rewritten. The modified mandate was necessary, some say, because batteries have yet to be developed that can compete with gasoline engines. The mandate still requires 10% of sales by 2003 to include EVs.

Article Abstract:
The Jaguar E-type roadster has become one of the most popular exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York City. The Jaguar is one of only three automobiles at the MOMA and is greatly admired for its unique design, one that was appreciated long before its inclusion at MOMA.
