Article Abstract:
The criticism over the financial debacles is directed at three groups of professionals namely CFOs, external auditors and at CEOs and other senior executives. This has further led to a high level of shareholder frustration which is considered to be exorbitant and unjustified levels of executive compensation.

The findings and decisions of the disciplinary committee as recorded by the divisional council as on 5th February 2004 are presented. The formal complaints were proffered by the investigation committee that the CPAs had a case to answer with respect to clause 27 (1) of CPA AustraliaEs constitution.
