Commercial office space in Australia covers 20 million square metres, two-thirds of which is in central business districts (CBDs) and one third of which is located in suburban markets. Office property experts believe that CBDs will slow disappear as more and more people look to work closer to home, and some believe that CBDs will become obsolete because of technological advancements.
