Rough Classification
Article Abstract:
The concept of a 'rough' set of data objects was first introduced by Pawlak in 1982. The concepts of set theory and topology are used to further discuss 'rough' sets. A concept of approximate analysis of data is derived from 'rough' sets. An algorithm for approximate classification of objects based on 'rough' sets has been developed. It is applied to a medical data analysis for diagnosis problem.
