Influence of environmental factors and human activity on the presence of Salmonella serovars in a marine environment
Article Abstract:
The geographic and temporal distribution of salmonellae in the coastal waters of the Galicia region in Spain is studied for identifying serovars and determining the relationship between the environmental factors and Salmonella prevalence. Yearly minor variations are observed in the prevalence of the Salmonella.

Uptake and replication of salmonella enterica in acanthamoeba rhysodes
Article Abstract:
Three serovars of salmonella enterica and five isolates of acanthamoeba are used to evaluate the ability of salmonellae to survive and replicate amoebae. The results obtained are discussed.
