Complex segregation analysis of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in Irish wolfhounds
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to analyze the mode of inheritance for dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in Irish wolfhounds using regressive logistic models. This study aids in understanding basic pathogenic mechanisms with regard to genetics and molecular biology of DCM.

Inheritance of guttural pouch tympany in the Arabian horse
Article Abstract:
The mode of inheritance of guttural pouch tympany (GPT) of Arabian horses is analyzed. Studies revealed that a polygenic and a mixed monogenic-polygenic model best explained the segregation of Arabian fouls with GPT.
