Efficient allelic exchange and transposon mutagenesis in Mycobacterium avium by specialized transduction
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Mycobacterium avium. The authors have investigated allelic exchange and transposon mutagenesis in M. avium clinical strain via specialized transduction, and have established the system for direct and random mutagenesis of this bacterium.

DnaE2 polymerase contributes to in vivo survival and the emergence of drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on DNA polymerase in pathogens and symbionts. The authors have investigated the hypothesis that one copy of this polymerase can participate in error-prone DNA repair synthesis, and they discuss the results.
