Fine-scale genetic structure and gene flow within Costa Rican populations of mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla)
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Costa Rican populations of mahogany Swietenia macrophylla. The authors describe the analysis of fine-scale structure of genetic diversity and gene flow in these populations, and demonstrate that the removal of the diversity can lead to the difficult recovery via seeds and pollen dispersal.

Signatures of selection? Patterns of microsatellite diversity of a chromosome containing a selected locus
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on cattle breeds' genetic diversity. The authors have analyzed population genetic parameters for the microsatellite loci in double-muscled and non-double-muscled cattle breeds in investigating genetic diversity petterns, and they present the results.
