Inheritance and distribution of trichome phenotypes in Datura wrightii
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the inheritance and distribution of trichome phenotypes in Datura wrightii. The hypothesis that feeding by herbivorous insects and water stress influence polymorphism maintenance in natural plant productions was examined. Results indicated differences among populations in the density of trichomes. Findings also showed several factors contributing to the variation of Datura wrightii.

Base composition of Coffea AFLP sequences and their conservation within the genus
Article Abstract:
An analysis of specific sequences of Coffea pseudozanguebariae (PSE) genome associated with different types of clustered and nonclustered amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) band is presented. Results showed AFLP fragments associated with clustered loci tended to have a higher AT content than the mean coding sequence.
