Laminin isoforms and lung development: all isoforms are not equal
Article Abstract:
A study on the development of embryonic lung, which is made up of several laminin isoforms, is presented. Each isoform is found to have a unique function in lung development. Laminins are important constituents of basal membrane.

Molecular dissection of laminin alpha5 in vivo reveals separable domain-specific roles in embryonic development and kidney function
Article Abstract:
Using a study on mouse embryos, the functions of various laminin alpha chains in organ development, gastrulation, and vascularization of kidney glomeruli, are analyzed. Laminins are basement membrane protein family members.
