Population genetic structure of the lettuce root aphid, Pemphigus bursarius (L.), in relation to georgaphic distance, gene flow and host plant usage
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on cyclically parthenogenic aphid Pemphigus bursarius. The authors describe the use of microsatellite markers in investigating population structure of P. bursarius, and report that allele frequency differences have been observed on the primary host plant separated by distances.

Phylogeography, haplotype trees, and invasive plant species
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on genetic variant distribution. The authors discuss the study of haplotype's geographical diversity in invasive Phragmites populations in the United States, and report that the invasiveness is caused by colonization and spread of distinct genotypes from Europe.
