RpoN of the fish pathogen Vibrio (Listonella) anguillarum is essential for flagellum production and virulence by the water-borne but not intraperitoneal route of inoculation
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on the involvement of RpoN in flagellum production and pathogenicity of Vibrio anguillarum by cloning and sequencing the rpoN gene. The findings indicate that RpoN does not seem to regulate any factors necessary for virulence subsequent to penetration of the fish epithelium. However, RpoN plays a key role in the infection of fish by water-borne V anguillarum.

Role for the major outer-membrane protein from Vibrio anguillarum in bile resistance and biofilm formation
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on fish pathogen Vibrio anguillarum which produces a major outer-membrane porin. The authors report the cloning of the gene encoding outer-membrane protein from V. anguillarum.
