Spatial distribution of allozyme polymorphisms following clonal and sexual reproduction in populations of Rhus javanica (Anacardiaceae)
Article Abstract:
Populations of Rhus javanica (Anacardiaceae), a dioecious tree widely found in warm subtropical/tropical regions in east Asia, and spatial distribution of allozyme polymorphisms following clonal and sexual reproduction have been studied. It seems clonal reproduction does not contribute much to genetic isolation by distance in sexually reproduced individuals or the total population. Within populations moderate or no spatial genetic structure is found in sexually reproduced individuals. Vegetatively reproduced genotypes are almost randomly distributed.

Spatial genetic structure in a Neolitsea sericea population (Lauraceae)
Article Abstract:
F-statistics, allozyme loci, and spatial autocorrelation statistics have been used to look at changes in genetic structure among five age classes within a Neolitsea sericea, evergreen tree with bird-dispersed seeds, study population in southern Korea. The mean F-values averaged over loci were similar among age classes and showed overall conformance of heterozygosities with Hardy-Weinberg proportions.

Temporal aspects of the fine-scale genetic structure in a population of Cinnamomum insularimontanum (Lauraceae)
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on evergreen tree Cinnamomum larimontanum (Lauraceae) with bird-dispersed seeds. The authors describe their study of C. larimontanum's genetic structure changes within the study population in southern Korea carried out via the use of Wright's fixation index, allozyme loci, coancestry measures and spatial autocorrelation statistics, and they report the results.
