The CREB coactivator TORC2 functions as a calcium- and cAMP-sensitive coincidence detector
Article Abstract:
A signaling module that mediates the synergistic effects of the pathways on cellular gene expression by stimulating the dephosphorylation and nuclear entry of TORC2, a CREB coactivator is described. The results illustrate the way in which a phosphatase/kinase module connects two signaling pathways in response to nutrient and hormonal cues.

Regulator of sex-limitation (Rsl) encodes a pair of KRAB zinc-finger genes that control sexually dimorphic liver gene expression
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Kruppel-associated box zinc-finger genes. The authors have mapped sex-limitation alleles to the region on Chromosome 13 which consists of Kruppel-associated box zinc-finger protein genes, and have described the role of Kruppel-associated box zinc-finger repressor proteins.
