Whole-genome ChIP-chip analysis of Dorsal, Twist, and Snail suggests integration of diverse patterning processes in the Drosophila embryo
Article Abstract:
Chromatin immunoprecipitation coupled with microarray analysis (ChIP-chip) was used to determine the genome-wide occupancy of Dorsal, Twist, and Snail in the Drosophila embryo. The evidence suggests that a significant fraction of protein target enhancers is functional and extensive integration occurs between diverse patterning networks, including those controlling dorsoventral (DV) patterning and segmentation.

APC/C-Cdh1-mediated degradation of the polo kinase Cdc5 promotes the return of Cdc14 into the nucleolus
Article Abstract:
The promotion of the return of Cdc14 into the nucleolus by the action of the Anaphase-Promoting Complex or Cyclosome (APC/C)-mediated degradation of the polo kinase, Cdc5 in Saccharomyces cerevisiae is investigated.
