A goal programming model for effective segment determination: a comment and application
Article Abstract:
A decision making model for effective market segment determination is presented and analyzed. A nonprofit healthcare organization applied the integer goal programming model to its system. The model is characterized by client and decision maker input while evaluating market segment developments and management, institutional and resource constraints. Results show that the model effectively segmented healthcare clients.

A contingent view of quality management - the impact of international competition on quality

An integrative framework of quality management made up of quality practices, high involvement work practices, firm performance and quality performance is presented. It was established that international competition moderates the link between quality practices and customer satisfaction performance.
