A losing bid leads to winning ways
Article Abstract:
Donna Eiby failed to win a contract with the Australian government to provide training courses in 1994, but she learned from this experience and began a consulting business to help others win government contracts. No similar resources had been in existence, and her business now makes $515,000 (Australian) each year and employs 8 people. She advises businesses to focus great energy on winning one contract because they will then be accepted more readily.
