A new world requires a new nationalism

Australia can compete effectively in the global economy if it redefines its economic and political objectives and develops a sense of nationalism. The importance of national governments is increasing in the balancing of the negative aspects of globalization. Historically, Australia's imperial rule has stunted its ability to compete internationally, which is seen in the country's small international business presence.

Time for a more inclusive kind of radicalism
Article Abstract:
The new Labor Government in Australia needs to adopt a radical philosophy of reform in order to have long-term success. Former governemnts have failed because of their conservatism and lack of stable, liberal leadership. The Labor Government needs to implement long-term planning and liberal infrastructure spending in order to have a long and successful run.
