In 1997 Graeme Pope was removed from his job of a big company, the shade cloth manufacturer Gale Australia. However, now in 2004 he is back on the list of top companies with his own company Waterwerks, but his importing business is easy for others to copy, hence he is focusing on building barriers to entry and creating a base from which to launch other companies as his company has a turnover of $12 million.
