Stocks in the advertising industry continue to perform quite well, due to good economic conditions in the US and other factors, and this can be expected to continue through the rest of 1999. The advertising industry is also benefiting from the global economy, and the industry is also changing with the increased agency consolidation, diversification, and client account consolidation. Investors need to concentrate on the larger stocks, as they are most likely to benefit from the emerging industry trends.
