Internet ad reruns raise new fee issues
Article Abstract:

The agency that created the ad, McKinney & Silver of Raleigh, NC, sought the permissions necessary to do so at the outset, when it was negotiating the rights for the television ad. The payment of fees to talent agents for using actors in commercials are standard procedure, but what about the 30,000 consumers who have thus far downloaded a copy of the ad and emailed it to friends for no fee.
