An exploratory analysis of the value of the skills of the IT personnel: Their relationship to IS infrastructure and competitive advantage
Article Abstract:
This study found that information technology personnel technical skills contribute positively to information system success and provide an overall competitive advantage to the organization. Softer management and interpersonal skills were not found to provide those advantages. Modularity, rather than integration, also contributes to competitive advantage.

Organization structure from a loose coupling perspective: A multidimensional approach
Article Abstract:
The study uses loose coupling concepts to develop a framework for studying organizational structure and interactions. The framework also incorporates modified network analysis. Three key independent variables that may affect patterns of coupling are tested; they are organization strategy, technology, and environmental turbulence.

Deming management model is used to analyze total quality in services. Different streams of quality research are combined by enhancing the Deming management model with the concepts of MBNQA literature.
