Auto parts (replacement) industry
Article Abstract:
Sales and earnings for the automobile replacement parts industry have been weak in 1997 due to bad weather and the higher quality of the aftermarket and original equipment. Many of the companies in this industry have begun to restructure in order to increase sales and earnings, and growth is expected for the industry for the next several years. Investors should find a number of timely stocks in this industry for 1998 and through 2000-2002.

Auto parts (replacement) industry
Article Abstract:
The auto parts replacement industry should continue to grow throughout the 1990s and will continue to prove to be a good long term investment. Share earnings have been strong during 1996 because several cars needed replacement parts after a harsh 1995-96 winter. Acquisitions have continued in this sector and the industry is expected to remain stable.
