Article Abstract:
Statistics of some of the companies in the Aerospace /Defense industry and their securities rankings as of September 23, 2005 are furnished. The demand for new jetliners is continuing to grow and both Boeing and Airbus have increased production. The recent increase in fuel prices will, however, dampen this demand to an extent. In defense segment, the slowdown in spending growth vis-a-vis the increase in prices of weapons is likely to adversely affect the results.
