The voluntary administration introduced in 1993 allowed the music retailer Brashs to settle its financial difficulties while continuing operations. While the company could not survive, the issue of title retention and the outstanding gift vouchers were settled by Lindsay Maxsted. Maxsted was the administrator from KPMG. Creditors of the company will get 22 Australian cents to a dollar.
