Building genuine trust through interpersonal emotion management: A threat regulation model of trust and collaboration across boundaries
Article Abstract:
The rapid growth in interorganizational collaboration has increased demands of capacities of knowledge workers to develop interpersonal trust. The author has put forth an interpersonal threat regulation model that focuses on the active, intersubjective processes of understanding and managing other peoples' perceptions of threat and on the implications of these intersubjective processes for trust and collaboration.

The glass cliff: Exploring the dynamics surrounding the appointment of women to precarious leadership positions
Article Abstract:
The invisible barriers that prevent the progress of women to the leadership positions in the organizations, best described, as the "glass cliff" are the differential selection of women against men for unrewarding jobs. The article describes the means to eliminate these barriers and their dependence on capacity for disadvantaged groups to overcome resistance.

Motivation to lead, motivation to follow: The role of self-regulatory focus in leadership process
Article Abstract:
A theoretical approach is presented to develop leadership, taking into consideration the self-regulatory focus and self-concept based theories of leadership that is proportional to the motivational effects on the followers. Further research is invited on the effect of the national culture on chronic and situational regulatory foci and on leadership style.
