Bush pardons ex-officials of Iran-Contra wrongdoing

Bush pardoned six former government officials involved in the Iran-Contra Affair on Dec 24, 1992, ending the remaining two prosecutions by independent counsel Lawrence Walsh. Walsh announced on the day of the pardons that his office has learned that Bush had a diary relevant to the cases.
