Canadian energy industry
Article Abstract:
Oil prices in the Canadian energy industry have remained anemic in 1998 due to a lack of demand, increased petroleum reserves, mild winter weather, and political and economic instability in Russia and the Far East. The price of natural gas has remained strong in Canada, however, and the supply/demand factors for the industry are expected to improve. Canadian energy stocks are not timely in 1998 and are best suited for long-term investors.
