Causes of disruption to franchise operations
Article Abstract:
This study of franchisors in Australia found that system disruption occurs more as a result of the age of the franchise than provision of support services. Older, larger franchises encounter greater levels of disruption than younger franchises. This has implications for those interested in investing in a franchise; they should seek a younger, if less proven, company.
