Clinton vetoes Interior spending bill

A $12.2 billion Interior Dept appropriations bill for FY 1996, was vetoed by Pres Clinton on Dec 18, 1995. The president had originally asked for $1.6 billion more than Congress had allotted, and he felt the funding was inadequate. He listed six other points points of disagreement with the bill.
