Article Abstract:
The Australian dollar has risen 26% on the US dollar in 2003, being the highest-value Australian dollar in five years, also rising against Japanese and European currencies. It is suggested that as the exporters are pressurized about a high Australian dollar making their products less competitive, the importers should cash in on this opportunity.
