Article Abstract:

The results indicated that feedback monitoring remains constant with respect to time along with inquiry coming from supervisors but exhibits a reduction in terms of peer inquiry. The results suggest the importance of further investigations of the relationships between impression management and uncertainty reduction to feedback seeking.

Getting more than you pay for: organizational citizenship behavior and pay-for-performance plans
Article Abstract:
A study conducted on employees in the utility industry supported the hypothesis that value alignment is capable of moderating the effect of pay for performance schemes on extrarole employee behaviors. The study reveals that pay for performance produce a negative impact on the extrarole behavior of employees who exhibit low levels of value alignment. The situation is reversed, however, in instances where employees exhibit high value alignment.
