Comparing market sectors
Article Abstract:
The performance of technology markets is reviewed at the end of March 2005. The review at this time is significant because it marks the fifth anniversary of the end of the technology bubble that drove markets to dizzy heights in the second half of 1990s. The performance of Standard and Poor's indexes at that time is discussed and today's composition of S&P's 500 is presented. The sectors that rule the markets today are Energy and Materials.
