A six-week investigation by Lord Michael Patrick Nolan found that British MPs did not commit political corrupt activities, but proposed several ways to prevent such activities from happening. The MPs protested the proposals, saying they would inhibit otherwise qualified people from running.

Bomb blasts wrack Bombay, Calcutta
Article Abstract:
Several bombs were detonated Mar 12-19, 1993, in Bombay and Calcutta, India, killing over 300 people and injuring 1,100. A subsequent police investigation revealed that the bombings involved organized crime and international terrorism, and were related to Muslim-Hindu relations.
